Suffered poor box-office returns. Was banned in France and Allemagne until 1975. En fait, ce film n'a jamais été banni ou censuré puisque sa sortie en France a simplement été "suspendue" pendant 18 ans. Tiens tiens, les Gaulois n'aimaient pas du tout la façon dont leurs militaires sont décris dans ce film? Comme c'est bizarre.
Patriotisme, autorité, guerre, fanatisme, exécution, chaire a canon, sifflet...
"If anyone wants to look at “Paths of Glory” and think it doesn't speak to the essential triumph of institutions over individuals and doesn't speak to the fundamental inhumanity of the 20th century and beyond, then they weren't watching the same film as the rest of us."

En plus Kubrick n'est pas en mode exercice de style, il est vé-ner.
